Get this: $2,554.45. That is what a seller wants for a used large print copy of Not Once but Twice on Amazon. I love that book and my mom, but I can't afford to pay two mortgage payments for a book! ha Sometimes I wonder where sellers come up with the prices like that. Many times the prices are $100ish, $200ish, which I can't pay either. I did manage to find six more for her at decent prices.

Betty AnoninTXAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-931981138747432610.post-3263702821769588872012-04-16T22:32:56.080-07:002012-04-16T22:32:56.080-07:00Remember how Harvey and Tim would look at each oth...Remember how Harvey and Tim would look at each other and be doing everything in the world not to laugh! Since I'm squashing any desire to own a wool shop so the responsibilities do not interfere with my knitting, I do so want her to be a success with this store. She fails with store ownership for more reasons than being in love and I wish Julia instead had a very busy store that she sells off to a couple of chatty customers in order to waltz into the sunset with Gerard. In fact, I shall enjoy this scenario instead...
An Ordinary Girl

Betty AdrianneBetty Debbiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16446092401692468002noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-931981138747432610.post-26613077842182219552012-04-12T07:35:08.372-07:002012-04-12T07:35:08.372-07:00That is the cutest story ever. That is the cutest story ever.Keirahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10802633046486840052noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-931981138747432610.post-72491205145587615302012-04-11T21:37:50.258-07:002012-04-11T21:37:50.258-07:00Matilda's Wedding

I assured her that I myself would need the large print books eventually as I am very nearsighted. So since we are sharing the books, so to speak, that made it ok for me to buy them.

Betty AnoninTXAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-931981138747432610.post-54966303779008475492012-04-11T17:14:44.409-07:002012-04-11T17:14:44.409-07:00No, it's not Cassandra by Chance, although Cas...No, it's not Cassandra by Chance, although Cassandra Darling is in the top ten. The first two spots are, without a doubt, Fate Is Remarkable and Once for All Time. I can't pick one over the other, so they are tied for #1. Love them both so much and have read them both more times than I can remember.

As as aside, hoping Betty fans will appreciate this, my precious teeny tiny almost 89-year-old mother is reading Betty books. She is homebound with many health problems, but bless her, she has fairly good eyesight after cataract surgery. So she reads every day. She doesn't want an e reader. She wants real books. She had been reading some series about quilt mysteries that has ended. For Christmas I bought her a large print Fate Is Remarkable, not being sure she would like it or not. She did! So I've been looking on eBay, Amazon, etc., for large print Bettys. That's one reason I think I've been figuring out my favorites because I've been trying to get them for Mom. She's finished 7 now, and I just took her a sack of 9 more. So cute.

Betty AnoninTXAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-931981138747432610.post-72030728433836571462012-04-11T17:03:14.066-07:002012-04-11T17:03:14.066-07:00Shoot.
