I've been reading Betty Neels books probably since they first came out. (And I am excited to see you are also fans of Essie Summers, although I haven't seen one of her books for ages.) I think I've read most of the Neels books, although there are a few titles I don't remember, and I've read them multiple times. I used to have copies of them all, but at one point decided I didn't need them any more then later started buying the reprinted Harlequins because I missed her. I live in Corvallis, Oregon, USA.<br />Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13214074205771739059noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-931981138747432610.post-19589132248703190082020-09-23T18:59:40.761-07:002020-09-23T18:59:40.761-07:00One thing I love about TGB is her wonderful little...One thing I love about TGB is her wonderful little character sketches. In this book we have Buster the cat, a once beautiful kitten, rendered dirty and skinny through neglect, who, with a little Araminta TLC becomes a dandy who tames his raucous purr and doesn’t like riding in a box with a tea towel for a cover. Some day my Betty ship will sail in! But there's another Betty, can anyone help me figure out which -- OK, brother is a medical student, aunt is sick and they have to move out of their flat into ghastly place. Think the heroine shelves groceries ... and then eeeeeeeeevil uncle and aunt practically kidnap aunt and heroine and uncle won't arrange for proper aunt medical care and then the hero rescues them. Don't remember a Dutch side to this story. Help!
