Betty in the Wild

Philomena watches out for alligators.

Betty Jodee was bemoaning the fact that she hasn't gone anywhere cool lately (so that she could take a "Betty in the Wild" pic). Cool is in the eye of the beholder. This picture is very exotic to me (not too many wild gator's in Washington State)...and yet I took this picture about a block away from my daughter's house in Goose Creek, South Carolina. Yes, it's just a subdivision retaining pond.
