Wildcard Round Results and Voting!

Greetings, dear Betties! Having taken off last Monday to celebrate Memorial Day (U.S.) in style (visit to cemetery and the grave of a fallen veteran, masses of yardwork and grilled meats to finish off) I have had a hard time getting back into the swing of things. The last weeks of school term are hard, yo. The struggle is real.
Real enough to warrant a 1000-yard stare.

I have totted up the votes from our Wildcard Round. Twenty books got at least one vote and several of them got more than that. Our finalists are Blow Hot, Blow Cold, Tabitha in Moonlight, Dearest Mary Jane and Tulips for Augusta.

I've folded them into the brackets and it was going along swimmingly until I got to the Imperiled Poppets Bracket. You guys. It's going to be the worst.
Betty Keira didn't want to think about the future bracket that
included a three-way vote between
Cassandra By Chance, The Promise of Happiness
and The Hasty Marriage. She was also looking fabulous.

But let's not bother with that now. Here is The Barfing on His Brouges Bracket (Round Four) to break your heart first.

P.S. I'd like to add a special welcome to our De-lurked Betties who voted in the previous round. We're glad to hear from you!

  6. Dearest Mary Jane was the first Betty book I read. That one will always have my utmost affection.

Easy! (I'm always a bit surprised that I love so many of the 'modern' volumes better than a handful of the oldies. I do like Sister P. very much indeed, but Dearest Love is just a stunner.)

I am one of those lurking Betties. Is it ok to vote now when I have not done so previously?

Hard to choose between Blow Hot, Blow Cold and An Ordinary Girl, but I like how James is so smitten from the start.
