Writing From the Master Suite of My Stately Dutch Mansion While Wearing a Fetching Pink Quilted Bed Coat...

The Interminable Gestation drew to a hasty close nigh on a fortnight ago but I find that a little physical frustration at the close makes one so much more cheerful when sleepless nights ensue and, if you'll excuse a little TMI, when the milk comes in.

Betty Maren and I are doing swimmingly and I have no thoughts of handing her off to a beleaguered relative while I accompany my husband to South America for two years or rescue him from a Middle East prison.  We are just setting nice, low bars each day while I eat her cheeks up.  The fourth pledge (a harem-scarum four-year-old) says, "Ooooooh!  Baby Maren is so delicious!"
Thank you all for your well wishes!

  8. Your hair looks suspiciously clean and shiny for someone who isn't abandoning her child to a beleaguered r. And what are you talking about cheeks? The whole baby looks delightfully tasty! Especially wrapped in all that hand-knit goodness.
