Francesca was extra careful when checking the sell-by dates. |
Monday, April 25th. The Fortunes of Francesca. Younger brother is a med student, sweet older aunt, evil older uncle.
Thursday, April 28th. The Final Touch. Twins! Stepsister is a model! Knitting!
Perhaps when Charity finishes up the sweaters for the twins, she could whip up this little number for herself. |
Well, there's no way I can read the rest of my TBRR pile (to be reread) of The Canon by May 1. I'm hustling to finish a quilt by next Friday, I have a lengthy Western romance to read by tomorrow, and there's this pesky book I'm supposed to be writing.
ReplyDeleteAll of which makes me want to take a nap...
I forget where this song lyric originates but "can this really be the end"? Hmmm, think it's Bob Dylan. Don't disappear after the last review: this is such a wonderful place to hang out.
ReplyDeleteBetty Barbara here--
ReplyDeleteOh Noes! I was comfortable in my state of Denial!!
Too bad that the last two books aren't in my top ten.
I have a solution -- just repost your reviews in order. I'm serious. I didn't glom onto the site until February of last year, and I was the first non-Hanna (& friends) fan.
ReplyDeleteNo need to do anything else, just announce them, let us read the books, and run the post again. (Yes, I know we could just click to each on in turn, but we wouldn't be doing it on the same days.)
Betty Barbara here--
ReplyDeleteyes, yes, Betty Magdalen--I love your idea! I didn't discover the site until last spring, I think I've read all the reviews, but I know I haven't had a chance to comment on all of them (snerk)
Yeah, I still haven't had the chance to enter The Little Dragon fight. (Oops, doesn't that sound like a Bruce Lee flick?)
ReplyDeleteI think this would be a great idea! Like Betty Barbara, I've read most of the reviews, but would love to reread and laugh at them again on the same day as you other Bettys. :-) Just got back from Easter Vigil mass. Lent's over and I'm BAAACK! Have a wonderful Easter all.
ReplyDeleteWelcome back, Betty Cyndi! (Notice my comment heralding your anticipated return here--this is where I would insert a hyperlink if I hadn't failed Betty Magdalen's How to Succeed in Hyperlinks without Really Trying Class--oh well, see Palm Sunday's post.)
ReplyDeleteI found it, Betty JoDee. I'm so glad to be back!
