I love this cover illustration; it looks so other-worldly. Betty never suggests her heroines might be guilty of plucking an eyebrow, did she? (Don't answer; I know she didn't.)
Okay, I am currently reading this one. Betty was definitely experimenting with some other voices in her narrative (Adam/Loveday) which sort of takes away from the mystery of Thimo - I think at least.
I don't know WHY I am so possessed with reading Betty! I just got my credit card bill and I have downloaded seven of her books to my Kindle not to mention the five I just bought at the used book store here in town. Betty! Betty! Betty! What have you done to me!
