Upcoming Reviews

March 8th -Monday review: A Gentle Awakening - 1987. Cordon Bleu cooking, a house with a see-through floor and a heroine who speaks Dutch fluently!

March 11th - Thursday review: Damsel in Green - 1970. Heroine named George, skating on thin ice, and...a Balkan frame!

  1. A Gentle Awakening is going to be a fun one to review. Our villain will be castigated.

  2. I love Damsel in Green, where the title is both a liqueur (right?) and a descriptor the hero uses to describe the heroine when she wears a green velvet dress. Definitely one of the longer books in the Canon if I recall correctly.

  3. I remember cruising through Damsel in Green the first time and liking it but after some review by Betty Debbie I re-read it and love, love, loved it.

The family in it is just too awesome for words.
