British Word of the Day

loo 2  (l)
n. pl. loos Chiefly British
A toilet.
How was it, thought Julia, that her hair being untidy and going to the loo should seems so normal and unembarrassing between two people who didn't even like each other?  An Independent Woman

This is one of those British words that I actually use quite often.  When you're a mother of four little Bedlamites it behooves one to use as many 'potty' euphemisms as is possible.  So, it is not at all out of the question that a Betty Keira might ask The Goob van Voorhees if he wiped his Wee Dandy Dublin when he went to the loo...
He'd know what I meant.
